I've been dying to share this post but things have just been hectic and so busy on my side that I only just found the time to post.
Last Thursday, the 27th of November, was the official Calvin Klein Store Opening Event at the V&A Waterfront. It is the first Calvin Klein store in South Africa, so of course it was a reason to celebrate - with DJ's such as Das Kapital and DJ Dean Fuel, and guests including Chiano Sky, DA Les, Jimmy Nevis and so many more, I knew immediately it was going to be an eventful night.
Think of a gorgeous store filled with stylish people, bubbly, good food and great music playing in the background.
The store is sleek, clean, and sophisticated with great garments, sexy underwear and timeless jewellery pieces, Not forgetting the accessories and Calvin Klein fragrances which speaks for itself. I love the fact that Calvin Klein is finally in South Africa, if you're in the area - the store is definitely a must see!
As this month slowly but surely comes to an end, I thought I'd share some of the items that I've been crushing on during the month of October. 1 - Kakoon Moon oversized silk dress from the YouHeShe site, 2 - Tom Dixon scent water perfumed candle, 3 - Danielle Wellington classy sheffield watch, 4 - Chanel Chance fragrance (my new staple fragrance), 5 - 'Take It Back' off the Indigo Summer Mixtape by Nylo. What have you been crushing on this October?
After kicking off our Italy trip in Venice (you can check out that blog post here), we then made our way to the oh so glorious eternal city of Rome! Once again, it has always been a dream of mine to visit Rome and being there was an unforgettable experience. It took us about 3 to 4 hours to get there by train and when we finally arrived I could not believe my eyes - as I`m sure you can imagine.
For me, seeing the Flavian Ampitheatre (or better known as the Colosseum) in the center of Rome with my own eyes was one of the biggest deals. I never thought I`d actually see it for myself - everything felt like a dream.
These past few weeks has easily been some of the busiest but yet exciting weeks of my life. From travelling around the French part of Switzerland over the weekend to going to Germany and getting a chance to really experience Europa Park and then finally going to Italy all within the space of two weeks. That’s 5 different hotels in 14 days so you can only imagine how excited I was to get back home and settle back into my routine, in Switzerland that is…
I was fortunate enough to go to Italy for about a week and we went to Venice to kick off our trip. It has always been a dream of mine to go to Venice and before now I always thought that that’s all it would ever be. Venice is unbelievably beautiful and the entire experience was completely surreal.
Some classic and basic items that I feel all ladies should own. It`s simple yet chic and can be constantly mixed and matched for the perfect anytime of the day outfit. My list of essentials would include good fitting denims, a black pencil skirt, plain white blouse, an oversized coat in a neutral colour, cropped chunky knit sweater , simple black heeled sandals, a nude clutch, black baker watch by Marc Jacobs, gold ring and Butter nail polish in Tan.
